SFMCA/SFA Equivalents are as follows:
- XA = Andorian Orientation College
- XC = Cardassian Orientation College
- XK = Klingon Warrior Academy
- XR = Romulan Orientation College
- XV = Vulcan Orientation College
- MD 25 = Aerospace Medicine Specialty
- ST 40 = College of Strategy and Tactics (level 1 & 2)
Students must apply for the highest degree qualified for at time of application. If a student is qualified for a Doctorate, he/she may not apply for Associate or Bachelor degrees as well.
A student may only earn a maximum of two degrees at any one level. The two degrees must differ in at least 20% of the courses. One of those two degrees may not be a minor of the other; the two degrees must have different majors and/or minors.
The exception to the above restriction is for the Doctorate level. In order to give the Doctorate level students an incentive to keep taking classes, a student may earn as many full Doctorates as desired beyond the initial two. Only the first two Doctorates are eligible for double majors. Subsequent Doctorates must be single majors only.
