The College of Engineering will be made up of two schools.

The School of Engineering History (SoEH) will provide "factual" engineering knowledge from both the "real world" and the Star Trek Universe, introducing the student to the basic principles and the people who made them great.

The forthcoming School of Starship Design (SoSD) will introduce students to the "real life" aspects of designing a starship, from developing basic concept designs to complete external views and then, finally, the creation of detailed deck plans.
