Genealogy is the craft of tracing your family tree. These three courses listed below will introduce and explain the basics of recording your data, using sources, and discovering your family history.

Course Tuition:
Course is free electronically or $2.00 (two vouchers) for hard copy. Electronic Diplomas are also free, while Hardcopy Diplomas are $1.00 (one voucher)

COG 101 - First Steps in Genealogy
Searching for personal sources; Using a computer or a notebook to record your information; Extending your research to elderly relatives; Learning basic genealogical standards; Investigating the census; Organizing your findings.

COG 201 - Leaps and Bounds in Genealogy
Some of the sources you will need when ancestor-spotting: where to find them and how to use them. Covers personal, local and printed, national and internet sources.

COG 301 - To Genealogy…And Beyond!
This course places the ancestors from your family tree into a historical and social setting. Covers personal, local, national and international history.
